For daddy's birthday we got front row seats to see the Dodgers play Detroit. They were celebrating the 30th anniversary of The Empire Strikes Back - so it was fun to see Chewbacca. It's definitely different having a son who's potty trained - 4 trips to the restroom but no accidents!!!
Now that Ben is 3, we thought that the time was right for him to socialize a little more with other kids. What a tough tough thing for everyone involved though. He only goes Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8-12:30. Both days started with the teachers having to peel Ben off of me while he was screaming, "mommy I want to go home"! It was awful - both mornings started off with Ben crying in the classroom and mommy crying in her car in the parking lot. Grandma Sharon barely makes it to 12:30 to pick him up - she was there today before noon! :)He LOVES Starla, the bunny.
I can't believe we are at the end of May already! It's been a busy month! Ben went to see trucks at a park near our house and we went to the beach. We visited Grandma Joan's grave on Mother's Day. Last weekend was Tristan's 3rd birthday! I just saw the pics but even the manliest of little boys can have a tea party. :)
